The 1996-2004 Toyota Tacoma Alpha Front Bumper DIY Kit is designed for those who want aggressive styling with uncompromising durability. Built entirely from heavy-duty steel, its fully enclosed outer shell offers superior protection while maintaining a clean, streamlined look. A precision-cut center slot accommodates a light bar, complemented by mounting points for two auxiliary lights, ensuring enhanced visibility on the trail.

Product Features:

Most DIY bumper kits require hours of tedious measuring, welding, and grinding. Our laser-cut, press-bent kit with slotted and tabbed edges simplifies assembly, drastically reducing welding and ensuring perfect alignment. You can even tack it together without mounting it.
Laser-scanned for precision fitment, ensuring accuracy to within 0.005 inches for a superior fit.
The frame mounting plate, inner support plate, skid support plate, and inner and outer wings are constructed from 3/16" HRPO steel. Inner main vertical plates are made from 1/4” thick steel, while the wing support brackets with integrated shackle mounts are built from 3/8" steel, reinforced with 1.5" OD .250 wall DOM tubing. All remaining sheet metal components use 11-gauge HRPO steel, and the tubing is 1.75" OD 11-gauge ERW steel.
The bumper is designed to fit an Extreme LED 22" X6 10W lightbar. The fog light holes are 2.5" in size and project straight forward, creating a slightly oval shape.
Oversized mounting points and included hardware allow for adjustability to accommodate frame variations, ensuring flexible installation.
Weighs approximately 80 lbs., with additional weight if grille guard tubing is added.

Important Information:

THIS IS A DIY (DO IT YOURSELF) BUMPER. Comes as individual pieces, designed for the customer to weld and assemble.
Not compatible with body lifts without leaving a gap; works with stock height and suspension-lifted vehicles.
Small surface imperfections, such as minor rust spots or shallow scratches, may be present due to manufacturing and shipping processes.
Any grille guard tubing will not be pre-coped and will be slightly oversized.
The Alpha bumper is specifically designed for 3rd Gen 4Runners but is also compatible with 2001-2004 1st Gen Tacomas. Tacoma installations require 3/4" spacers (made from 6061 aluminum blocks) on the bottom mounting points, along with extended M12 hardware, both of which are included. The bumper may also fit 1996-2000 models, though fitment has not been tested. For 1998-2000 models, trimming 2 inches off the front frame horns may be required—this same modification is necessary for all 3rd Gen 4Runners and does not compromise frame integrity. After trimming, the area should be cleaned and coated with spray paint to prevent rust.
This is NOT A WINCH BUMPER. There is no room or mounting points inside the bumper for a winch.
